The Fight of Centaurs (Icon EX-05)

Part of ‘Mediterranean Icons’. The art project is characterized by an iconography that echoes that of Byzantine art, re-interpreted through an expressionist modern art, where the iconic compartments, condensing the narrative, are preserved, but instead of the religious images, the ‘Mediterranean Icons’ carry symbolic meanings, veiled figures, and recount stories of mutation, transformation and struggle of a fluid and fugitive reality.
