Description
The Breath of the Sibyl
Within the language of Mediterranean Icons, The Breath of the Sibyl evokes prophecy as something sensed rather than spoken. Against a luminous golden field, elongated figures rise, bend, and dissolve, while smaller presences flicker through the surrounding chambers like fragments of vision. The central forms seem animated by an unseen current, as if breath itself were moving through them, carrying memory, intuition, and warning across time. The Sibyl becomes less a fixed figure than a living force, suspended between revelation and disappearance, where myth and inner perception meet in a restless field of colour and transformation.
