Description
Anatomy of Deluge
In this dramatic and atmospheric work, Ferdinando Ambrosino dissects the emotional and symbolic turbulence of a flood, not as a literal event, but as an inner storm. The central vortex of fractured forms echoes bodies swept into motion, caught between dissolution and emergence. Dark greys and muted blacks are pierced by sudden flashes of red, yellow, and white, like remnants of life resisting the overwhelming force. Along the bottom register, a sequence of standing figures offers a quiet counterpoint: silhouettes that remain grounded, almost like survivors remembering what once was. Anatomy of Deluge becomes a meditation on chaos and reconstruction, the moment when destruction reveals its hidden patterns and a new order begins to form from the remnants of the old.
