Within the language of Mediterranean Icons, Figures of Rebirth evokes renewal as a continual process of transformation. Fragmented forms seem to rise, dissolve, and re-form within shifting fields of colour and light, suggesting bodies caught between disappearance and emergence. Rather than illustrating rebirth as a single event, the painting presents it as a recurring condition; life passing through rupture, change, and renewal, only to return in another form.
