Description
Masks of Venice
A nocturne of shifting identities, Masks of Venice bathes its figures in a deep, lagoon-blue atmosphere; half mist, half memory. At the edges, small apparitions surface like fragments of forgotten carnivals, while the central tableau opens into a drifting constellation of faces and silhouettes, dissolving and reforming as if carried by the tide. Here, Venice is not a place but a state of transformation: masks that reveal rather than conceal, glimmers of emotion rising from darkness, and figures that seem to flicker between laughter and lament. A theatre of souls, suspended between water and sky, history and dream.
