Rarefaction (Icon GX-05)

Part of Mediterranean Icons, this work unfolds like a fading memory suspended in a field of incandescent reds and soft, dissolving tones. Figures appear only as outlines or ghostly traces; some sketched lightly into the surface, others barely emerging from shifting clouds of colour. The composition feels in constant flux, as if forms are evaporating into light or being pulled back from oblivion. Through its blurred contours and warm, trembling atmosphere, Rarefaction captures the moment when presence turns into essence, when the visible becomes suggestion, and when the boundary between body, gesture, and pure luminance begins to dissolve.
