Reminiscence

Part of Mediterranean Icons, this work centres on a solitary, white-shrouded figure emerging from a muted field of greys and deep earth tones, as if appearing from the haze of memory itself. Around this central presence, smaller compartments contain fleeting silhouettes, blurred gestures, and spectral faces; fragments that seem to drift between visibility and disappearance. Vertical streaks of colour and dissolving forms evoke the act of remembering: unstable, layered, never fully graspable. Through textured surfaces and subdued light, Reminiscence becomes a meditation on the traces we carry, the echoes of people, moments, and emotions that persist long after their contours have faded.
