Description
The Other Light
Part of Mediterranean Icons, this work extends its imagery beyond the central field, incorporating the painted frame as an active part of the composition. Figures, fragments, and marks along the borders function like shifting guardians or echoes, blurring the boundary between image and enclosure. Within the central space, a suspended form radiates an uncanny illumination, while the surrounding shapes gather, dissolve, and reconfigure. These emerging movements suggest an encounter with a different kind of light, one that exposes vulnerability, transformation, and the unseen currents of the human condition.
